The Silvertone 1483 Kemper Profile Pack 2.0 seeks to recreate the tone of a vintage Silvertone 1484 and matching 1×15 Amp. A lot of guitar players may be familiar with the Silvertone Twin Twelve but this is sort of the secret weapon of the Silvertone line up and is actually the Bass Amp from the series. The 67 PMBM Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to capture the tone of a very rare '67 Prune Music Bassman. Randall Smith (who would later found Mesa/Boogie) began modifying amps at a small SF Bay Area music shop called Prune Music. These amps became hugely popular with iconic musicians like the Grateful Dead, Santana, and Steve Miller Band (among others in the scene).
This particular amp started life in 1967 as a stock Fender Bassman, which then served as the donor for extensive mods and a full rebuild. Channel 1 is something like a Brownface Deluxe or an 18-watt Marshall. It offers warm, dynamic, and touch-sensitive tones. Channel 2 is more aggressive and similar to a '70s 50-watt small-box Marshall with serious crunch. Channel 3 builds on that again with more gain. It has a Mesa-like vibe but thicker and fuller.

The Wreck Collection from Tone Junkie seeks to recreate HW’s collection real and clone Trainwrecks. i have owned dozens of real and clone Wreck amps and these are the ones that have stayed. Inside you will find the Express, Liverpool and Rocket. Each amp has two speaker choices, M25 and H30. The Rocket is an AC30 style amp that chimes as you would expect the overdriven tone are among the best i have found in any amp ever! If you are an AC30 fan, you will want to try this! The Express a hot fire breathing type circuit that if I had to liken to anything… it would be a Marshall but it’s not…. it’s hot and lively and only cleans up with the guitars volume. It is incredibly responsive. The Liverpool is much more like the, it uses el84 and is also very responsive but the smaller output of the amp also makes it a great pairing with the rocket for when you want more dirt.

The 67 DLX DRV Pack seeks to recreate a one of kind amp loaned to me from a well known guitar player here in Nashville. He actually asked me not mention who had performed the modifications to this amp or to photograph the amp itself. It was built for him as a gift and he didn’t want to profit off the relationship. So in an effort to honor his request I can tell you that this amp started its life as a 67 Deluxe Reverb. The Vibrato Channel remained mostly that circuit with a few tweaks however the Normal channel was rebuild to cascade into the vibrato channel and provide more gain. The amp was eventually rehoused into a head and paired with an old Jensen which would have been similar to the original speaker but I felt the amp paired better with a 2×12 cab filled with Celestion G12-65s.
In a few words… this is a better Deluxe Reverb, fully capable of what a deluxe does but it naturally progresses into a harmonically rich and tight overdrive that a normal Deluxe Reverb can’t reach.
Channel 1 is the vibrato channel of the amp running thru a 2×12 Celestion G12 65.
Channel 2 is the normal channel running into the vibrato channel utilizing the gain. You can hear the extra gain stage adding a more tubular sound, more bass and more gain.
Channel 3 is the Vibrato channel with a separate D style preamp running into the vibrato channel. Brighter, a bit less mids and more clarity than channel 2.

The DMBL WATT Pack from Tone Junkie is an original creation combining the front end preamp of two DMBL Style amps into a Hiwatt Custom 100 once we adjusted/ EQ'd out some of the kinks we arranged 2 different style channels one more on the cleaner side and one more aggressive but both channels are capable of clean to dirty tones. The JH100 Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a “PRS JH100” amplifier powering a 69 Marshall and 70 Orange 4×12 (marked H30). This is the circuit Paul lifters from one of Hendrix’s old Marshalls. It delivered a more refined Plexi tone than a vintage one in my option… being much more clear in the top end instead of raspy as the gain comes in. We captured the Normal, Bright and two channels jumped together. It’s a beautiful example of a refined plexi type sound that sounds much more polished, recording ready and clear.

The JM Continuum Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to recreate the tone of the SineWave Continuum Amp. The circuit in this amp is that of the Two Rock John Mayer Signature amp. This is one of those amps that for good or bad…. it always sound like itself… the EQ, Contour, BMT swithes work to shape the tone but the amp always features that signature JM tone. It’s a deep bass, with a sweet singing quality that is open and airy. The Bright Switch, Middle Switch etc add a different flavor on top but the main course stays the same… it’s THAT TONE!
Inside the pack you will notice some settings labeled “Sig” these are the Signature settings that John marked on his Two Rock that I recorded when I got to play one of his amps years ago.

The DMBL PHOENIX Pack seeks to recreate the tone of the "Dumble Phoenix Preamp"! the final evolution of the ODS sound and offered to dealers by Dumble this preamp covers all the ODS sounds you know and love and is even more versatile. Cleans that are bright, full bodied and beautiful, HRM style crunch reminiscent of your favorite british amps and a ultra thick and singing OD channel that is really the only one like it I have heard... it is at times fuzz like.... thick and full while remaining articulate. We shot these captures thru a traditional G1265 2×12 cab and also included 3 IRs of that cab, the EJ signature eminence and a Vibroverb 1×12, all of which suite the amp well.

Based on a rare Dumble amp known as the “70’s Overdrive Deluxe” the DMBL ODRV Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to capture the sound of an Overdrive Deluxe clone, mic’d with a Royer 121 ands SM545. We utilized 2 speakers the default G12-65 Celestion and the signature EJ speaker the EJ1250. While both fit the amp well you will notice the G1265 is warmer and brings out the amps naturally thick characteristic, especially on the more aggressive Rock settings. Jazz settings are cleaner and cleaner in the midrange in general but the EJ1250 also adds more presence across the range of profiles/capture. We have also included a full range of directs for matching with any of our AI IR packs and their variety of microphones or your favorite IR.

This custom Shop amp from Bad Cat runs 6L6s and is extremely versatile boasting both beautiful cleans and overdrive synonymous with the Bad Cat but also a High Gain channel capable of Modern Hi Gain tones. We captures the entire breathe of tones thru 3 speaker M - Celestion G12M25, H - Celestion G12H30 and V - Celestion V30. Profiles/captures of channel 1 feature a more traditional 12ax7 Bad Cat tone with which runs a bit hotter than other Badcat/Matchess style amps. The Gainstar 15 QC Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a Star Gainstar 15. Built by Mark Sampson this circuit seems to share a similar tonal architecture to his previous work at Matchless and BadCat but the Gainstar 15 feels like a hotter gainer version of that sound. Channel 1 feels like a hotter and juicier Match type sound with Channel 2 being a completely high gain and searing lead type sound. Still ultra expressive but much more aggressive with a throaty voice. Unlike other attempts at this type of sound like a Hot Cat etc. This amp feels like two amps in one but still share in common an expressiveness and Tonal clarity that is the circuits signature characteristic.

The Match Brave Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to recreate the sound of the 97 Matchless Brave. An amp that is rarer than hens teeth and was the last circuit designed for Matchless my Mark Sampson. The pack contains tones, spanning from clean to British crunch. Featuring a Brilliant and Normal Channel the AC50 takes the AC30s iconic sounds and beefs it up with a pair of EL34 adding a larger amp amp feel. EVER HEARD OF JOHNNY MCINTYRE?
Well he made a name for himself in the amp world by building modified Bassman’s and BandMasters and turning them into a cross between a pushed juicy as a peach Bassman and a 70’s Marshall. This one has been outfitted with EL34s and has a blend pot to sort of mix the two sounds together. The resulting tone is one of the most incredible Blues/Rock amps we have found. The 65 Cambridge QC Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 1965 Vox Cambridge 1x10 combo. Did you know that before the Vox made the Cambridge into their solid-state model it was made for two year, 65-66 as an all tube 17 watt combo? This EL84 driven 1x10 combo was designed and released to compete with the Fender Princeton reverb and feel like a cross between an AC15/10 and a Princeton. We grabbed its tone thru the Oxford made Golden bulldog speaker that is one of the best, little known old speakers that are rarely talked about. Plus we have given you the option of some larger cabs like a couple 4x12s and some old Alnico Silvers.

The 57 5E3 Deluxe QC Pack seeks to recreate the sound of HW's 1957 5E3 Fender Tweed Deluxe with Original Jensen P12… An Absolutely beautiful sounding amp! The classic sound of Neil Young, the Eagles and tons of other acts. Channel 1 (Instrument Channel) is a bit brighter and the tones knob actually adds gain as well as brightness. Channel 2 (Microphone Channel) is a bit darker and has a beautiful vintage warmth when clean. We shot the captures with a Cascade FatHead 2 and a vintage SM545.

The 58 5E7 Bandmaster QC Pack seeks to recreate the sound of HW’s 1958 Bandmaster. Previously believed to be a 1957, this amp is one of my all time favorites amps. The mic channel (marked 2) is more aggressive and full with more low midrange while the Instrument channels (marked 1) is brighter and politer. The tone is a combination of touch sensitive fender cleans with snap sparkle, classic tweed era low midrange and a beautiful thick overdrive that is aggressive and vintage in flavor.
Captured thru a Cascade Fathead II and SM545 running into Heritage Audio Neve Clones micing the original 1958 Jensen P10R 3x10 Bandmaster cabinet. Direct Captures also included.

The 65 Black Panel Vibrolux features a 2x10 cab giving this classic fender circuit its own voice. Compared to its cousins in the Fender Black panel line the Vibrolux has a tight bass and sparkly top end. This is one the best if not the best of the old fender designed circuits before Leo sold the company. YMMV

Powered by KT66s this Marshall has more vintage voice (a la JTM45) than other modern marshalls but much more gain on tap than other marshall amps featuring the KT66 power tubes. This gives the Astra captures a familiar and classic sound but with the flexibility and smoother sound of a more polished modern circuit. Jimi to Jimmy, clean to mean. This is one of the best Marshall amps no one talks about.

The AC10 SRT throws out the quintessential Vox AC tone and packs it in a small package with a shallow bass delivering a cutting and bright tone that flies thru the mix with clarity. It’s the scrappy doo to the older and bigger AC15 and AC30. Snarl, growl chime and cut!

Sampson Era Bad Cat Black Cat 30. This circuit is nearly identical to the Matchless C30 with a few small tweaks. In general I would generalize it as having possibly slightly more lower mids but it’s basically a Sampson Era C30. Million Dollar high end, gorgeous edge of break up, overdrive that an AC30 wishes it could deliver….It’s a masterpiece! One of the best amps I have owned in a decade of collecting.

In the years known as the Santa Cruz Era, when Howard Alexander Dumble lived int he Santa Cruz mountains, he made many amps for local musicians that were somewhere between fully rebuilt amps and significantly modified Fenders. One of these amps is a late 60's Silverface Deluxe rebuilt/modified by Howard. It retains a tone inherently more "Deluxe" than the ODS and SSS amps but feature the Dumble vocal midrange type voice that works so well for blues guitar.
This is a clone of that amp, running thru a Two Rock 2x12.

The very first 100 watt amp produced by Marshall.... sometimes called the "Super Amplifier" was a doubled up version of his first amp, the JTM45. Apparently Jim wanted an amp with 2x the volume so he made the JTM45/100, a JTM45 with two separate power sections powered by KT66s and built a 8x12 Cabinet to go with it filled with early Celestion Alnico 15 watt speaker.
Captured thru a R121 and SM545 mining up a 69 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 G12M25 Greenbacks and (X) Celestion 15 watt alnico reissues.

One of the Iconic amps of 70s Rock and feature the very useful FAC Frequency Attenuation Control. Using the FACS we captured the amp with 2 voices, one more thick and one a bit brighter and thru the (M) M25 and (H) H30 speaker. Classic Rock to Early Metal.

Incredible little Vintage Gibson, basically their version of a Champ. Great Clean to overdrive. We captured this thru the 10 inch blu label fender speaker that was placed in ours in the late 70s and captures marked "12" are running thru a 12 inch Jensen Alnico from a 65 Gibson Scout.

The 64 Tuxedo Prince is the classic 6G2 from the Brown panel era but in the Tuxedo dress, featuring a black panel and white knobs. More midrange and growl than Black panel amps and turned up can get into mini marshal territory.

The 65 Scout is the bigger brother to the Gibson Skylark. The tone is warm midrangey from it’s double EL84 power section. Vintage 60’s cleans with a different flavor than a Fender or a Vox, this tone sits somewhere in between a Fender and a Magnavox.

The JMP 2040 QC Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to recreate the sound of a 74 JMP 2040 in 2x12 tall open back cab. HW used some studio trickery like a touch of EQ at two points in the chain, some unique preamp tubes from the Tone Junkie Collection etc. to really dial in what we would call and idealized version of this circuit. The result is a 70's Marshall tone with a ton of upper mid and openness. We captured the amp with the included cabinet was well as thru a 4x12 with H30s and and Alnico Silvers.

The 70 Marshall Master PA was essentially a Plexi amplifier but with 4 channels and 2 added 12AX7 compared to a Super Lead. It featured 4 channel , each with an independent tone control and a shared Marshall style EQ. We voiced each channel differently for variety and tried to bring out the tone of each. They are all bit different and perfect for matching to whatever guitar you are using.

The AC44 is the best Vox amp that was never made! We took the AC10 and ran it thru an EL34 Power amp and the result is all the chimey AC top end and break up but with the heft of those EL34s. It's not the AC50 or the AC30 its something new! Cleans up incredibly well and has 2 voices, Normal (N) and Bright (B)

This 1962 Pro Amp was converted from a 15inch speaker combo cab to a head at some point in it’s life. After a bunch of testing I landed on 2 speakers I thought fit it well. We captured the circuit thru a 2x12 cabinet with G12-65s. These are really sleeper vintage amps, use a gained up capture and see how well it cleans up!
