The Mars Astra ToneX Capture Pack seeks to recreate the Marshall Astra combo amp. Powered by KT66s this circuit has more vintage voice (a la JTM45) than other modern marshall style amps but much more gain on tap than other marshall amps featuring the KT66 power tubes. This gives the Astra captures a familiar and classic sound but with the flexibility and smoother sound of a more polished modern circuit. Jimi to Jimmy, clean to mean.
