BobCat 20 Helix HX Pack with Tone Matched IRs

The BobCat 20 Helix HX Pack with ToneMatched IRs from Tone Junkie seems to recreate the sound of one of my all time favorite amps, The Bad Cat 20R combo. This circuit features a 6SL7 preamp tube and have a unique breakup that is aggressive when pushed into overdrive or with the higher gain settings but also reminiscent of an 50’s Tweed deluxe ore Valco amp when clean and edge of breakup. The overdriven tones stay much tighter than a classic amp however and features a beautiful singing midrange that has a certain singing or “chirp” like quality.
