Mars LJ 800 Kemper Profile Pack

The Mars LJ 800 Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a mid 80s JCM800 modded by Lee Jackson. The “Lee Jackson” sound I would describe as a rolled off low end than something like a soldano, and a sweepable midrange push with clear top end bite. (M) denotes profiles with a higher midrange push. The tone is the late 80’s LA Hot Rodded Marshall sound from countless records recorded by, Via, Warren Di Martini, George Lynch etc.

The Silver Collection Kemper Profile Pack

If you are bored with your guitar tone…. the Silver Collection is the answer! We tracked down 5 vintage circuits from the Silvertone line available at “Sears and Roebuck” department store (Yes, the one that sold Kensore appliances and bed sheets) back in the day and the results are some of the most unique, lo-fi, beautiful tones we have found. We profiled 5 circuits including the famous Twin Twelve (Model 1484), the lesser known Guitar/Bass version the “Veteran” Model 1483 (The sleeper super incredible amp!, Seriously this is a Gem!) The 1482 combo version of the larger amps, the 1472 which we call the “TV” because it looks like that, and the “Silver Jr” little 6 inch speaker practice amp that actually slays! 61 New Studio Profiles!

The DMBL Collection Kemper Profile Pack

96 New Profiles! The DMBL Collection seeks to recreate the sound of 5 of the most sought after and rare Dumble circuits ever wired up! “SSS”, the Steel String Singer made famous by SRV known for it’s huge tone, high headroom and depth. “JM”, very similar to the ODS circuit used by John. “PHNX”, the UltraPhonix mod done to various amps including Bassman and Bandmasters. “183”, The ODS made with EL-34s. “HRM” Hot Rodded Marshall era ODS. Each circuit was profiled thru the same mic, pre and cab setup, Two Rock G1265 equipped cab, close mic’d with a SM7b (a la JM) and thru an API 512c so you can hear the differences in all the circuits. It’s like getting in a Time Machine and going back to 1965! We profiled the entire Black Panel Fender amp line up with the same mic, pre and speaker position across all 13 vintage models with their matching speakers and cabinets. It’s like sitting in a music store in 1965 and trying out the entire line. 190+ new profiles mic’d to get all the warmth, fatness and beautiful top end these beautiful black panel amps are known for!

DLX RVB Helix HX Pack with Tone Matched IRS

The DLX RVB Helix HX Pack with Tone Matched IRs contains 4 Tone Matched IRs, 4 Helix and 4 HX Stomp presets designed to capture the sound and feel of 2 Vintage Deluxe Reverb amps from my collection, a 1965 blackface Deluxe Reverb and a 1967 silverface Drip Edge Deluxe Reverb. In general you will find the 65 warmer and with a bit more mids than the 67 which is in general a bit brighter. Both sound wonderful clean and overdriven with or without stomps.

The 62 Pro Amp Kemper Profile Pack seeks to reproduce the sound of a 1962 Fender Pro Amp thru multiple speakers from my collection. This amp was converted from a 15inch speaker combo cab to a head at some point in it’s life. After a bunch of testing I landed on 2 speakers I thought fit it well. We profiled the circuit thru a 2x12 cabinet with G12-65s and thru a 15 Inch JBL D130F. The magic of these profiles is similar to the magic of the amps in real life….pull up the fully gained up profiles and pull the volume back you will get full blackface-esque cleans with the ability to roll up the volume into all out Rock N Roll break up. 10/10, sleeper vintage amp!

The Mars Collection Kemper Profile Pack

The Mars Collection is 151 NEW Profiles seeking to capture the sound of 4 Vintage Marshalls. The goal was to capture each amp in the most raw and honest way possible, with one mic setup and one cab to really hear the differences between these circuits. The result? This may be the best pack from Tone Junkie yet, because of how many flavors of British Rock are packed into these 151 profiles. We mic’d our favorite cab, a 4x12 Vintage Marshall Cab with a single e906 and ran it into a API 512c. The tone is a slightly more compressed, hot, dynamic feel that sounds like so many recordings! This is the connoisseur Marshall pack, featuring the 68 Mars Purple, 68 JMP PA 100, 71 Mars SL and the 73 Mars SB.

BE50LX Kemper Profile Pack

The BE50LX Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a Friedman BE50 Deluxe thru our 1969 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 greenbacks mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. To best capture the wide breathe and tone of this amplifier we actually changed mic setup and position with each channel. This has resulted in what I believe is one of our best packs to date, beautiful and dynamic sounding cleans, punchy crunchy rhythm and tight/massive sounding High Gain. This is one of the very best high gain circuits in existence and offers up the high gain British sound in spades but somehow pairs it with rich cleans that even Hendrix would have been happy to play.

Marsh 45100 Helix/HX Stomp Pack with Tone Matched IRs

The Marsh 45100 Helix/HX Stomp Pack with Tone Matched IRs features 3 Helix presets, 3 HX Stomp Presets (+1 preset with extra FX) and 3 Tone matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of a 40th Anniversary JTM45/100 thru a 8x12 Celestion Alnico cabinet mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. This circuit is the first full stack Marshall ever produced and used by Jimmy H. These presets are include a grunt vintage low end reminiscent of the amps lineage in the Tweed Bassman but the early Celestion Alnico speakers offer an almost Vox like voicing. It’s a focused, grunt, vintage marshall tone that paved the way for everything after it. We have included presets for the Lighter input, the normal input and the inputs Jumpered.

70s Mars Rock Helix/HX Stomp Pack with Tone Matched IRs

The 70s Mars Rock Helix/HX Stomp Pack with Tone Matched IRs features 2 Helix Presets, 2 HX Stomp Presets (+1 preset with extra FX) and 2 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of a 72 Marshall SuperLead and a 73 Marshall SuperBass running thru a 1969 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 Greenbacks 25m speaker mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. These presets are voiced for Rock and Hard Rock the mids are decently scooped, if using vintage voiced pickups like PAFs, I would recommend engaging the graphic EQ after the Amp section for more mids and upper mids. The tone is driven and tight for a 70’s unmoved marshall but still vintage feeling compared to more modern amps. The SuperBass features a heftier low end while the SuperLead will be more upper mid focused, both are classic Marshall style aggressive crunch.

The SOLD 100 Helix/HX Stomp Pack with Tone Matched IRs features 3 Helix Presets, 3 HX Stomp Presets (+2 presets with extra FX) and 3 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of a Soldano SLO 100 running thru a 1969 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 Greenback 25M speakers mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. This is one of the greatest guitar amps of all time, users include Eddie Van Halen to SRV and John Mayer, this is an incredible circuit. that cranks out clear and tight heavy overdriven tones, bluesy drive and beautiful clean tones.

The TWreck Rockit Helix/HX Pack features 3 Helix Presets, 3 HX Stomp Presets (+1 preset with extra FX) and 2 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of my Trainwreck Rocket running thru a 69 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 25w greenbacks and mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545 and a 66 AC30 cabinet with 2 Alnico silverbells (indicated with an “X”). This amp amp circuit is the famed AC style designed by Ken Fisher. It is an incredibly touch sensitive and our Helix/HX Tone Matches capture the sound of what is maybe the best AC style amp in our collection. From Chimer and clean to overdriven and grunty, but it really shines on the edge of break-up tones.

The TWreck LiverBird Helix/HX Pack features 2 Helix Presets, 2 HX Stomp Presets (+1 preset with extra FX) and 2 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of my Trainwreck LiverPool running thru a 69 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 25w greenbacks and mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. Each preset serves to capture the amplifiers tone with and without the Bright Switched engaged. This amp is extremely touch sensitive, you may notice a lack of headroom on the clean presets, the amp itself doesn’t clean up with the gain control but rather is designed to clean up with your guitars volume which it accomplished extremely well. Trainwrecks are known for being the most touch sensitive amps ever produced. There is plenty of gain on tap and playing lighting, with fingers or a pick will yield all shades of clean, breakup and overdrive.

Each preset serves to capture the amplifiers tone with and without the Bright Switched engaged. This is possibly my all time favorite amp and I am blown away at just how spot on the Tone Matched IRs get the Helix to the actual amp! WOW! Voxy, chimey and topendy but with much more heft and girth to the tone, its like a GIANT, super hefty and AC30 full of breath and punch!

The DMBLUXE Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a modified Deluxe reverb clone with “D*mble Mods” thru a 2x12 cabinet with Celestion G12-65 speakers mic’d with a Royer 121 and Shure SM545. In a word the tone is THICK and FULL! Focused midrange with more gain than a stock deluxe but with the bright switch on you can regain some of that American sparkle and top end that you may need for your bright and clear clean tones. If you are D style amp fan or just like thick syrupy tones…check this out!

The 68 Mars PA 100 Helix/HX Pack features 5 Helix Presets, 5 HX Stomp Presets (+5 with extra FX) and 5 Tone Matched IRs that seek to capture the sound of my 1968 Marshall PA 100 Head running thru a 69 Marshall 4x12 with T1221 25w greenbacks and mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. Each preset and Tone Matches IR serves to capture one of the 4 inputs each with different voicing plus the inputs Jumpered together. These presets cover the classic “NRM” and “Hi Treble” Marshall input sounds that allow you to match the voicing to different guitars and pickups. From Jimmy, to Jimmi, to Theodocious Atrocious, to SRV and 80’s leads, it’s all in here!

Each Helix/HW preset is built out in snapshot mode allowing easy access, Clean, Overdriven, Rock, and Lead gain stages plus we have added some addition snapshots that feature effects or boosts that I felt complimented the amp. For example, the “Dirty Tape” preset feature multiple reel machines to produce a cool warbley chorus type sound and a couple snapshots labeled “+” which use the Klon boost to really push the high mids and give an authoritative accent for rock and lead tones. We also assigned stomps in “Stompbox” mode which are easily customizable for your playing style. HX Stomp presets features a very similar yet scaled down set up.

Notes:
You till notice and EQ block between the Amp block and the IR. This is meant to be an alternate amp voicing which wi felt worked well to compliment the amps natural character or to match to some of my different guitars. You will notice an EQ and La2a compressor placed after the the IR. These serve to make fine adjustments to the feel and high low shelving of the amp tone. While they are currently set to minimal adjustment, these are very useful for sculpting each preset to an individual. Check our Youtube channel for videos on this topic.

The 1968 Mars PA 100 Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 1968 Marshall PA 100 guitar amplifier thru a 1969 Marshall basketweave 4x12 with T1221 25w greenback speaker! C’MON MAN ROCK’N ROLL! This is the Mac Daddy of all the Marshalls because offer real Plexi panel tone thru 4 EL34s with 4 separate channels. We’ve captures the channels and slightly modified the EQs to give you some tonal variety from more biting and bright to more balanced and bass forward. (We have also hidden the most face melting Vintage Marshall Tones on this side of the Mississippi, Uncle Willie can I get an “AMEN!” which are noted with the “\m/” Rock Hands. It’s British Plexi tone heaven, the angels are singing the, the midrange is screaming, welcome to the CHURCH OF TONE!!!!!!!!

64 Vibe Champ Kemper Profile Pack

The 64 Vibe Champ Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 1964 Fender Vibro Champ Amp profiles with a Royer 121 and Shure 545. The AA764 circuit combines two 12ax7s with a single ended 6V6 along with a 5Y3 rectifier. This small “practice” amp was and is to this day one of the best sounding little amps ever made and we made it sound BIG by also including profiles of this little monster thru not only it’s own 1x8 speaker but also a 15 inch JBL from out 64 Vibroverb.

The Marsh 45/100 Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 40th Anniversary Marshall 45/100 amplifier profiled with Celestion T562 alnico speakers. This is “THE HENDRIX AMP” and it sounds like it. The combination of the open and closed back 4x12 along with our pairing of a R121 and SM454 give a beautifully vintage sounding tone reminiscent of all your favorite early 60’s recordings. Mars Astra Kemper Profile Pack

The Mars Astra Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a Marshall Astoria amp. Powered by KT66s this marshall has more vintage voice than other modern marshalls but much more gain on tap than other marshall amps featuring the KT66 power tubes. This gives the Astra packs familiar and classic sound but with the flexibility and smoother sound of a more polished modern circuit. Jimi to Jimmy, clean to mean. The 60s AC Collection Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 6 Vintage AC amps from the 1960s. We profiled the 1964 AC4, 1964 AC10, 1966 AC15, 1966 AC30, 1966 AC50 and 1965 AC100. Inside is all types of chime, focused mid, overdrive and everything that defines the AC sound. The AC4 is tiny and mean, the AC10 and AC15 are different types of focused mids, The AC30 and 50 bring the rock and chime and the AC100 is extra hefty! The 73 Explorer Kemper Profile Pack seeks to capture the sound of a 1973 Gibson Explorer 1x10 combo close mic’d with a 121/545 mic combination. The tone is bright and punchy when clean, focused with tight bass from the 10 inch speaker. Overdriven tones are reminiscent of Classic Rock Overdrive with seemingly slightly more overdrive on tap than a vintage 60’s Princeton.
