Rose Morris V15 Kemper Profile Pack
The Rose Morris Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 1981 Vox V15 tube amp with 2x10 inch Fane Speakers mic’d with an SM545 and Royer 121. This is the forgotten Vox amp! Made during the Rose Morris era during the resurrection of the VOX brand after the Thomas Organ Company went bankrupt. The Rose Morris company relaunched VOX in 1978 and reintroduces the classic AC15 and AC30 but also created this non top boost 15 watt amp featuring 2 10 inch fanes. With a brilliant and Normal input along with a 3 band EQ, this was a straight forward circuit that sounded VOX like but wasn’t a copy of anything else before it. It’s more grunt than an AC15 and the mids can be cranked unlike the AC amps. While it doesn’t have a top boost and cut control you can certainly get some very familiar top end sparkle and chime from these V15 profiles.
