70s WEM Dominator 18 Kemper Profile Pack
The 70s WEM 18 Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a 1970s WEM Dominator MKIII amp with original 12 inch speaker mic’d with a Royer 121 and SM545. Often compared to 18 watt Marshall the headroom depth is that of a lower wattage combo, offering up a sweet breakup and edge of breakup sound with tons of definition and articulation. Unique to the WEMs is a Treble boost switch noted with a “T” in our profiles which was probably an attempt to capitalize not the success of Vox top boost amps. It junctions like a bright switch without too much harshness, perfect for sitting nicely in a mix or staying clear with healthy amounts of verb and Delay! (Worship dudes!) Of course it can rock for indie, blues, classic rock etc. This is a truly special and beautiful sounding circuit/profile pack!
