T652 Alnico 4x12 TJ3 IR Pack
Product Description:T652 Alnico TJ3 IR Pack
This TJ3 Impulse Response pack is based off a 4x12 open-back cabinet loaded with reissue Celestion T652 Alnico speakers. These are the rare early Marshall/Vox-era Alnico drivers (essentially the same design as the legendary Blue) that defined the first Marshall cabs and combos through late 1965—think Bluesbreaker, early Who, and Clapton tones. They deliver that classic Alnico response: less aggressive than later ceramic Greenbacks, with sparkling, detailed highs, sweet chime and jangle on the cleans, and smoother, more compressed overdrive when pushed. Warm, responsive, and full of touch sensitive midrange character with controlled lows, these speakers turn any British-style amp into a true vintage voiced platform full of that early 60s magic.
This pack includes 14 TJ3 Impulse Responses shot with a variety of microphones and microphone combinations each with optional post EQs which provide 168 IR options.
